Ukrainian and Czech experts analyze pollution areas near Zaporizhzhia following Kakhovka dam destruction

The coordinator of the Czech-Ukrainian project “Clean Air for Ukraine” Marcela Černochová (NGO “Arnika”), expert in ecology and sustainable development Oleksii Angurets and specialists of the Czech company “Dekonta” took samples of sediments from the exposed areas of bottom of the Dnipro river. They also collected samples of soil from the craters after the impact of Russian S-300 missiles in Zaporizhzhia. The samples will be analysed in the certified laboratory in the Czech Republic. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations for further management and remediation of sites will be prepared.
