The study examines the environmental impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, particularly on air quality. Besides the apparent tragic impact on human lives and the destruction of the country’s infrastructure, the war has led to significant environmental damage, including air pollution. Based on satellite images, this report examines and summarizes the change in air pollution since the start of hostilities, focusing on nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
